Congratulations to Their Royal Highnesses The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge! Their Royal Highnesses looked very happy with their new baby boy.
The following excerpt is taken from Clarence House’s news story about The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge leaving hospital.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge proudly showed the world their baby son, a future king, before taking him home tonight.
Their Royal Highnesses began their new lives as parents, cradling their baby prince and posing for pictures on the steps of the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London.
The Duchess held her son first and the couple looked relaxed and smiled broadly as the world’s media captured the moment.
The Duke later held his son and walked forward with his wife to answer a few questions. He began by joking: “He’s got a good pair of lungs on him, that’s for sure. He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. We are still working on a name so we will have that as soon as we can.”
He added: “It’s the first time we have seen him really so we are having a proper chance to catch up.”
The Duchess, who still had a bump under her summer dress, said: “It’s very emotional, it’s such a special time. I think any parent will know what this feeling feels like.”
Her husband agreed: “It’s very special.”
Congratulations and many blessings!
What a joyous event the arrival of the Royal baby has been. I am so glad we live in an era where we can witness history from across the pond. Thanks to The Telegraph for live-streaming this special occasion.
Today marks the first day of fall, also known as the autumnal equinox. Fall is by far my favorite season. This time of year has so many wonderful sights, smells and tastes.
To celebrate the start of this fantastic season, I wanted to share a few more photos from our family’s trip to Sky Top Orchard. While we visited Sky Top before fall officially began, apple picking is an activity associated with autumn. Enjoy! 😀
I am very excited to announce that MagicalDaddy.com is now featured on Alltop! I received an email from Alltop this morning letting me know that my blog has been added to the Parenting topic on their website.
The purpose of Alltop is to help you answer the question, “What’s happening?” in “all the topics” that interest you… You can think of Alltop as the “online magazine rack” of the web. We’ve subscribed to thousands of sources to provide “aggregation without aggravation.” To be clear, Alltop pages are starting points—they are not destinations per se. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance your online reading by displaying stories from sources that you’re already visiting plus helping you discover sources that you didn’t know existed.
