Photo of the Day | My Festive Son

16 Dec

My oldest son is currently wearing a Mickey Santa hat, under a Santa blanket, playing on my iPad. Yes, he is definitely my son. 🙂

Side note: I really need to get better about sharing more Photo of the Day posts. Please encourage me to do so. 😉

Beautiful Prayers

16 Nov

Each night, we take turns saying prayers with our oldest son.

After I finished saying prayers with Robert tonight, I paused for him to say his own prayers.  A few seconds later he said, “oh, sorry Daddy.  Those were beautiful prayers and I fell asleep for a few minutes.”  I chuckled to myself and then he told me, “my prayers will be short because I am a little bit tired.”

These are the moments I love. 🙂

Our Haunted Mansion House

22 Oct

We put out a few more Halloween decorations this afternoon.  While I was plugging in lights and walking our 11-month-old around, my 5-year-old asked if he could make a video on my iPhone.  The following is his little documentary of our outdoor Halloween decorations.  Enjoy.  🙂

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday | Our 8-month-old Disney Baby

18 Jul

Our baby boy is growing up so fast!  William has been crawling around all over the place and getting into whatever he can.  Mommy dressed him in his Disney Baby onesie and we  finally sat him down for his 8-month photo shoot, which proved to be much harder than in previous months.

Look at that sweet face!

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday | Animal Kingdom Surprise

27 Jun

Four random photos from our Disney Social Media Moms trip appeared in the photo stream on my iPhone yesterday. The funny thing is, they didn’t appear at the time I took them and I was disappointed. What a nice surprise to have them back! Of the four, this one was my favorite. I’m glad to have this self-portrait shot of myself and William. We were waiting on big brother Robert, Mommy and Grammie Sue to get off of Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. William had just woken up and I snapped this of myself and him. He was still a little sleepy, but what a sweet face!
